[Log] What happens when Jeff doesn't quite make it home
* Apollo_Justice reaches for his book once more, cracking it open to the page he'd left off on. His eyes skim over the page, but when he turns it, there's only one word scrawled on it: HELP. ... That wasn't there before. "Um.. Mr. Wright?"
Nick_Wright: Apollo?
Apollo_Justice: ...
* Apollo_Justice tilts his head to the side, inspecting the book. "Um, this ... wasn't here before."
Nick_Wright: Huh?
* Nick_Wright walks over to look at the page.
* The_page doesn't look the way it should. One half is blank, all words removed except for that single word. On the other, the letters begin moving.
* The_page continues to shift, letters sliding and bunching and crowding together and spacing out...until the crowded overlapping shapes form an image. A man. Screaming.
Apollo_Justice: !!!!
PaleStranger: *blinks*
Nick_Wright: !!! Th -- that's!
* Apollo_Justice blinks. "Mr. Wright??"
Nick_Wright: JEFF!
Apollo_Justice: ... W-What?
Tidus[dragon]: "What is it? Who?" Can he help?
PaleStranger: ...
* Nick_Wright glares at the Stranger. "What the hell... what the hell did you DO to him?!"
* Apollo_Justice is so confused...
* PaleStranger looks as shocked as anyone. He reaches over to grab the book.*
Nick_Wright: Jeff, oh God... we've gotta save him...
* Apollo_Justice stumbles to his feet from where he's standing, looking a little desperate. He doesn't know who Jeff is, but Nick's obviously upset by this. "I'm coming with you."
Nick_Wright: I'd say all right, but I don't even know where he is!
* PaleStranger picks up the book, but the text has returned to its normal state.* ... two-dimensional space....
